Over the past year, ACE Financial Services has been dedicated to providing the clubs and societies of Waterloo with services to improve their operations. With a motivated team of Executives and Associates, ACE has been able to provide quality accounting, consulting and environment services to their clients. As a result of the growing demand for ACE’s services, we are growing and are now accepting senior associate applications for the fall of 2010. Whether it be an interest in Accounting, Consulting or Environment, ACE Financial Services will provide the perfect opportunity to apply your learned knowledge, and gain experience that does beyond the walls of a lecture hall. Through constant interaction with their clients, each of our associates is able to further develop the necessary skills they will require in today’s world. If you are an individual who is motivated to create change within your school, and gain unprecedented experience, ACE Financial Services is looking for you!

AFSA needs your help to name its official 2010 - 2011 online newletter. Got any ideas? Submit what you think the newsletter should be named below. At a special joint meeting of the AFSA Board of Directors and Executives this past Tuesday, August 2nd, a final draft of the AFSA constitution was ratified. Andrew Jones (Chair-elect) remarked at the summer GM that “We are pleased to be able to tell you today that we have a constitutional document drafted, which will be presented shortly to the student body for comment. The time and attention taken in drafting this document over the past 8-months is testament to our commitment to provide a flexible governing document that can adapt as AFSA grows, as well as embody the founding principles that students voted for.” From this point, the constitution will be referred to legal counsel for review, opened to student review and comment during the fall, and ratified at the fall AGM.
